Pongy!
Do you like pong?
Do you like physics?
Do you like programmer art?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then Pongy is the game for you. My latest creation is a pong like game that I made to get experiance with the Novodex SDK. I wrote this game in C++ using OpenGL because I want to expand upon it in my advanced graphics class this semester. As usual, the source is included.

What? Pong doesn’t excite you? Well this is no ordinary pong game. In Pongy you battle against another player by controlling a paddle that can move anywhere in the “field” and can rotate around. At the top of each side of the field there is a goal that, when hit by the ball, score’s a point. Whoever has the most points at the end of 60 seconds is the winner.
Here are the controls:
I,K,J, and L move player 1.
U, and O rotate player 1.
W,S,A, and D move player 2.
Q, and E rotate player 2.
In summary, the graphics suck but the game is fun! Seriously though, if you’re interested in physics engines check my source for an example of a fairly simple real game.

I forgot to mention that if you want to compile it, you’ll need do download the Novodex SDK.
http://www.novodex.com/downloads.html
Then add the paths to VS and u should be good to go.

Works 100% great in WINE on linux. I’ll look into compiling it for real later.
