what’s next?

I’ve been MIA for the past week because I’m crazy busy with grad classes. Not too much time for after-hours projects right now, but I do have a few ideas of things I’m going to work on when I get a chance.

1) Finish writing a managed wrapper for Novodex (physics sdk)
2) Write a little demo showing how to do perspective shadow maps, depth-of-field, and several other pixel shader effects…plus maybe fur!
3) Write a demo showing a “particle text” effect that I’ve been plotting.
4) Write some articles for www.managed-world.com/, assuming Jason wants some help…
5) Get together with a kick-ass modeler and a kick-ass composer to make a true demo…ie demoscene style.
6) Port Pongy to C# using my managed wrapper for Novodex and add killer pixel shader effects + finish up the loose ends.

So, as you can see I have a lot of ideas, but not a lot of time right now. What do you think I should do when I get a break? I’m up for other ideas too.

You wouldn’t hear a single complaint from me about writing articles for Managed World. Perhaps it’s time for me to get some proper hosting setup so I can publish content a bit easier :) . Just be aware of me and my editing skills, MWUHAHAHA. Just kidding :) .

And don’t get me started on how much an example of fur would kick buttay.

If we could ever get some free time, we’ll put together the greatest demo of all time. :)

Yeah, free time…we all have TONS of that, don’t we :-)

Add “SPOT watch contract for Microsoft to that list” - Link to what I’m referring to at http://cplan.cse.msu.edu/weblogs/balanonh/archive/2004/10/16/171.aspx

I wonder if you ever finished writing that Managed Novodex Wrapper for C#, and if so, if you’d be willing to share it?

It would come in TOTAL handy for my a project involving collision detection. I wanna program it in C# and use the wickedness that Novodex appears to be.

could you email me directly since i’m not subscirbed to your webpage?

    Cheers,
    a.

    Hello,

I am also very interested in the Managed Novodex wrapper. If you could post that on your website or e-mail me that would be great.

    Thank you.
